Christmas lights & Trimming the Tree

(UPDATED)
I got one of the whole thing, minus the windows lit up :) I'm just a few fries short of a happy meal most days. Although it's still light out, you can see the driveway lights :)

The pictures SO DON'T do our house justice. We got LED lights and they are really bright. I didn't get the driveway because I gracefully crushed one of the lights during my attempt to take pictures.

Trinity's Princess castle. Alex would do, and does, pretty much anything he can to make his babies happy. :)

After being disappointed today by Wal-mart's HIGH PRICED Christmas trees, we got directions from a friend who knew of a good tree location in Vernon. So Alex dropped us girls off, so Elli could nap in her nice quiet bed and not Alex's thundering truck, and set out on his own personal adventure of finding our Christmas Tree. He was very successful! I can imagine the look on his face when he found the right one, a far off dreamy look similar to that of Chevy Chase in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. And not only did we get a save $30-$65 --minus the price of gas, which isn't much these day :)-- we got a much better and taller tree!

Trinity was a good help decorating the tree. She was so excited and kept regulating Eliana. I don't know if it shows much in the pictures, but we pretty much didn't put any ornaments on the bottom foot of the tree.

The finishing touch!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!

*It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas*

I know it's my favorite time of year (other than summer, because I prefer being warm) when my FAVORITE Christmas candy hits the shelves. We usually end up buying a few bags during December, of which I end up consuming mostly on my own.

For 3 Christmas's I have been looking for cool snowflakes to hang from my family room ceiling. Wal-mart has had a meager selection and I end up just hanging up more boring ornaments instead. This year however, I am lucky enough to live in a town that has a DOLLAR TREE. It almost feels like it's snowing, and the girls love it!

Alex had gone ALL OUT this year with the lights. Every window, the whole roof, around the driveway, and even Trinity's play set-- which she LOVES!While we were out side "helping" daddy with the lights, little miss busy was, as always, EVERYWHERE! She even managed to find some remnants of our sunflower jungle and give them a taste.

This one is my favorite! Elli is enchanted by all the Christmas lights. And I caught this one as she was oooooing and awwwwing front the family room window.

*Trinity is also very excited for Christmas even though she is not present in any of tonight's pictures. She was busy watching "a movie for me!!" that came from netflix at the time. But she did manage to peek out the door and request that her picture was taken.

Little Elves

This cracks me up how just a little bit of bubbles can turn my pretty little girls into silly little man elves. They also think they are quite funny!

Mr. & Mrs. Tatton Hamilton

It may seem like the other day that I was blogging about Tatton's triumphant return home from his mission. It was. And you never know, in 9 months I may be blogging about a honeymoon surprise:)
Tatton went all out with his tux and had a sexy top hat and cane.

After Tatton and Rachel had come out Trinity turned to Alex and said, "Daddy, take me inside and marry me!" then she planted a big kiss on him :)

while we were waiting.

Matti looking gorgeous as one of the bridesmaids.

The beautiful newlyweds.

Naughty little Elli kept making a b-line to the pond and much to her dismay, she spent a lot of time STRAPPED in her stroller.
Kalli and Trin picnicking by the pond.

The wonderful cake that Kalli did. She's amazing!

The reception was at a country club that had the most beautiful swan. I don't think I'd ever seen one this close before and it was incredible. I think I'm in love with swans.

Trin kept giving us all heart attacks every few minutes by disappearing every few minutes. She loved walking down by the water, but after getting in trouble repeatedly for taking off, she enlisted the service of her big cousin Jensen to escort her around for at least an hour. She sure is a bossy little thing. The bouquet throw. The garter toss. It was black. sexy!CONGRATS TATTON AND RACHEL!! WE LOVE YOU AND ARE SO HAPPY THAT YOU'VE STARTED YOUR FOREVER TOGETHER.

Our Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm especially thankful for my 2 beautiful daughters!

As is the Nunez family tradition, we successfully managed 2 Thanksgiving dinners this year. It actually works out great because each side makes certain dishes better than the other.

Our first stop: Alex's family.

Of course Trinity HAD to capture each individual that was present :) Some better than others, but hey, she's only 3.
Prima Claudia and Alex chillen in the backyard. It was the most gorgeous day down in the Valley! I'm thankful we were there and not home where it snowed. :)
Tata
Tio Elias

Prima Patty and her bf Brad.

Tio Robert and Tia Lecha

2nd stop: My Mom's family. I didn't take that many pictures, but I got a few of the cutie kids :D

Teila and Trin got along better at this gathering than ever before. I guess that is thanks to Trinity's growth spurt she's been going through all year and no longer looks like one of the babies.AWW! I love little Sean. He is the happiest little guy.Elli and Annie had fun playing in the back yard. They are just 5 weeks apart and it's fun to have a little cousin of the same gender and age.We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and it's always fun to catch up on every one's lives. I'm thankful for how truly blessed I am to have such a wonderful family, immediate and extended.

the new me...in 12-18 months

This is how I feel I look, (picture is a little blurry, this is Josie Grossie on Never Been Kissed)

This is how Alex says I look,

This is what I am after,

So, if you didn't already guess..... I got braces! It has been a wish of mine since my baby teeth fell out and the bigger, less straight, more crooked teeth grew in. And while my teeth and cheeks are a little sensitive, I am really excited that I am finally on my way to getting "The Perfect Smile" :D
