my favorite of the day!

I would have combined this picture with the other post, but I have been having a hard time getting pictures to upload to blogger! Is anyone else having trouble??

I was only going to take 1 or 2....

But that is nearly impossible when taking pictures of girls as cute as mine!

egg time!

Nana came to spend Easter with us and helped the girls color eggs. Trinity ended up with a multi-colored hand and she was so worried and distressed when it wouldn't wash off. It was pretty funny and she was quite relieved when you couldn't really see it by Sunday.
Let the hunting begin! (usually we go to the golf course in Snowflake, but I had to work that morning plus the weather was horrible, so it was much easier to do it at home)

Daddy helping Elli find eggs.

The "canny" eggs were, by no surprise, her favorite.

The slide was more Elli's style of fun.

Luckily the wind didn't blow the eggs away before the girls could find them.

WOO HOO!

Hope everyone had as wonderful an Easter as we had!

Easter

Easter meant a lot more to Trinity this year, and her enthusiasm made it more special for all of us. It is such a blessing to see her little testimony of Jesus grow. We took her to "Walk with Jesus" (a walk around with different rooms through the birth, life, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ put on by our stake) and she was completely fascinated with all of it. She has heard how Jesus died for us, but she is just starting to understand what that means. All day she talks about Jesus and how they put nails in his hands and feet and crucified him. She loves to talk about heaven and how we'll live with Jesus someday. She is such a special girl and I love her so much!

After weeks of asking, "Is it Easter today?" or, "Can I just TRY on my Easter dress for a little minute?", she was very happy when Easter finally got here.

Obviously she was excited.
And obviously she knew she looked adorable!

Little Elli looked darling too but, as it was nap time, she didn't want her picture taken.

Feeling fancy in our new Easter dresses

I put Trin's hair in sponge rollers the night before after her bath, and when we took them out (12+ hours later) she had a mass of, what she called, "boingy curls!"

... at least Trinity is smiling. :D

more pictures of coloring Easter eggs and the hunt soon to come...

Flowers... the way to a girls heart

These are Trinity's first flowers from a boy, other than her daddy, hand picked specially for her.
My friend has a little brother that is 2 years older than Trinity and they love playing together, so when we over playing yesterday he made sure to pick her all the ones she that caught her fancy. She's gonna be a heart breaker this one.

Eliana also loves "wowers". While I was outside taking pictures of my freshly bloomed tulips, Elli was happiest either trying to pick them or running away from me as fast as she could into the street.
I'm sure she'll also be a little heart breaker like her sister, but I'm more worried she'll be a breaker of many other things too. (bones, glass, anything delicate). She's a wild one, but so much fun too!

The yellow ones are my favorite this year!

Gorgeousness!!!

I think Elli shares my preference this year :)
