1 whole year of fun & love!

My sweet baby, Eliana Mireya Nunez, born August 27, 2007. Oh how I have loved you since the moment I found out you were on your way. Here is one picture for every month you have been in our family. What a beautiful baby you were with the longest eyelashes, and cutest little nose!

You are so lucky to have such a wonderful sister, who can't help but hug you till you cry, and tells you many time everyday how much she loves you.
Even though you didn't nap very good as an infant, you nap good now, which is very nice for mommy. I guess I got lucky and caught a picture of a nap in action.
I love those bunny slippers that you and your sister have both worn. I wish I could find some in every size.
This was your favorite toy for a few weeks :) It's easy to hold and chew at the same time.
Having some tummy time, which I didn't allow very often because we could count on you peeing everywhere!Just being my sweet smiling baby:)Learning to crawl. Now you crawl everywhere, and you are learning to climb very well also. You love to swing, and spin, and anything remotely wild always brings a huge smile to your face. All ready loving to look at your reflection. There are not many things that exist in our home that you have not tasted! Shoes are my least favorite of the things you LOVE to eat.
Your first OREO! And you sure did like it!
This is your birthday morning. Showing of your adorable teeth. You were in such a funny mood, I am quite sure that you knew it was your special day. I love your smile SOOO much!Reaching for your DADDY! Who you love and always have to give loves to every time you see him.Enjoying your new favorite food, SPAGHETTI, for your b-day dinner.

There you go trying to grab the cake before we even had a chance to sing.

Your Mommy and Daddy and sister love you with our whole hearts. You have brought so much love and happiness to our family.

Gravity...

As I already know that Trinity is a VERY assertive little girl, she left even me quite speechless this evening.

This is what happened:

While brushing Trinity's teeth before bed, I notice her carefully look me up and down.

"Mommy?"

"Huh?"

"Are you not wearing a bra?!?" (rhetorical question)

blushing "Hey! No sweetie, I'm not."

So after giving birth, and breastfeeding two children, I am not the only one who's noticed those changes that come with it and the gravitational pull that plagues me.

Alex thought this was all very funny. I guess he's noticed too....

I almost put up a picture, but for everyone's sake that reads my blog, I decided against it:)

Have a BALL BABY!!

Just an example of Eliana and her obsession with putting anything and everything in her mouth.

And she is STILL crawling... she can take a couple steps and stand but she's just not that interested in really walking yet. I don't feel like that's a bad things at all, because she is already EVERYWHERE and walking will just make her think she's bigger, consequently encouraging her to get into more things.........

Sleeping Beauty

Last night when I went to kiss my girls and make sure they were all covered before I went to bed, I found Trinity sleeping exactly like this.
*This is not a staged picture. I thought this was the cutest thing ever, and knew I had to try get a picture, so I risked waking her up. Flash and all, Trinity didn't even flinch.
This Morning when I told her that I saw her sleeping in her crown, she just smiled and said, "I was being Sleeping Beauty."

What a sweet little sleeping beauty. :)

goodbye peace of mind

So right when I start to think that now that Eliana is getting bigger, she is getting easier........ guess I am sadly mistaken.

*sigh* I just hope this kid has some good gardian angels keeping an eye out for her.

payback's a.........baby

This is me getting into my moms makeup.
As I am constantly reminded by my mother, I was an absolutely naughty baby/toddler/child/teen. She just laughs with a evil twinkle in her eyes every time my daughters do anything remotely reminiscent of the things I pulled.

The other day I was letting the girls play unsupervised in their room, while I caught up on some reading in the family room, when I heard:

"Mommy, Elli's handing me to many wipies."

So I go and investigate to see a package wipes that I had just opened the day before more than half empty with a mountain of wipes next to it.
Me: "Trinity, why did you let her do that?!?"
Trin: "My book got dirty, so I had to clean it."
Trin has a great imagination, and the book was not dirty she had wiped her book with every wipe Elli handed her. Even though I was able to salvage the wipes, I was far to irritated to take a picture.
This morning however, I was able to look at the funny side of a similar situation and snap a couple shots. Luckily she only got to empty one box of cereal before I caught her. :)

These girls are gonna be trouble!!
