Although I'm sure I do far more than acceptable..
Anyways, Being pregnant throws off my, already not the greatest, coordination skills.
I am still feeling bothered by this so, take yesterday for example. I was, somewhat, cheerfully fixing dinner last night when I took some chicken broth out of the fridge getting ready to make some gravy. I totally knocked off the glass lid of a Pyrex dish that went crashing to the floor. Luckily those things are heavy duty and it only fell about a foot, so it didn't break. I felt rather lucky. Not 5 minutes later, I decided the gravy needed a little bit more milk, so I grabbed out the BRAND NEW gallon, shut the fridge then gracefully drop it right in the middle of the kitchen floor! Being completely full, the carton split and milk flies and pours all over my ENTIRE kitchen. The table that only days before I had so lovingly washed and oiled, my clean windows on my french doors, and so on...
Me: "$#!T!"
Which Alex totally heard from outside because the window was open.
Alex: "Is everything okay?"
Me: "No!"
nothing....
So being the amazing woman that I am, I managed to get the floor mopped and everything wiped off and finish dinner without burning it, all without the husband who ignored my "no". And he wonders why I've been grumpy with him for the past 24 hours. He just said something to me about it and was like, " you shouldn't have been doing anything, you kept dropping stuff." Ya, like dinner cooks itself, and the house cleans itself. This is our 3 child on the way, you think that he'd get it that he's supposed to be more sympathetic to me.
But whatever. I know I am totally hormonal. But still.
I already feel better, I think I'll forgive him. A nice little rant here and there is good for the soul, or maybe just my sanity. If I even have any sanity left.
