longer hair.

It's been 3 years since I ditched my long locks and I want them back.  I've loved my short hair and I'm sure we'll reunite someday, but right now I'm ready for a change.  Now for the dreaded process of growing my hair out... til then, I'm dreaming of sexy ponytails and long layers...

a couple Elli-isms

Yesterday was a cold, cloudy day, so we got to test out newly installed wood stove.
Elli said, "I'm not freezing my buns off, I'm warming my buns off!"


Elli also has little stomach bug.  After using the restroom she said, "It's like brown ketchup!"

The things this kid comes up with!  We sure love her and life she brings to our home.

Fall

Fall means that winter and cold are fast approaching which distracts me from the fact that so far the first week of fall has been great!  Nice warm, almost hot days, cool nights with windows open, extra blanket in the morning, and a couple homemade soup dinners!
