Beautiful February days...

All of us playing outside in the girls "Princess Castle". It was SO nice outside, we didn't even need coats! It makes me grateful that we get a few nice days before the wind starts.

I loved all of the ones with the girls together on the tire swing. And I realized when I would say, "look at mommy" they thought I meant, "look at the really cool dirt!" :)

Can't wait until tomorrow because it's supposed to be 65 wonderful degrees!!! Hooray! I am going to take the girls for a picnic at the park. Whoever wants to join to join is welcome. Freeman park, 11:30. Let me know:)

Picasa

So I found this really fun, and free photo shop program called, Picasa. Well, actually Kalli told me about it. You can't do everything on it, but you can make really neat collages, and has other fun things! And since I love to post a million pictures at a time, this makes it much easier. Here are some of Trinity and I taking what Alex calls glamour shots! :)

slightly embarrasing

Warning! this post is of a nature that may be offensive to the male perspective.

Today we treated ourselves to the Pizza Hut Lunch Buffet. After we finished eating I took Trinity and myself to the bathroom. Unfortunately another lady was walking in as we were. Trin relieved herself first and then I did. As most children are, Trinity is very curious about the bodily functions of her mother.

Trinity: "ARE YOU BLEEDING?!?"
Me: "sshhhh." (in a whisper)
Trinity: "But are you bleeding?"
laughter from the other stall, and then, "Kids! Ahhh. hahahah."
Me: "Yep. Kids."

I'm hopeful that this woman was also a mother. And I'm sure I noticed looks in my direction and laughter as she recounted how exciting a little girl made the bathroom today. I would have to agree. These silly children sure never leave a dull moment. :)

Trinity LOVES to sing ALL DAY! And she will. We are always amazed at how creative her songs are, and they even make sense. She is wonderful. She has definitely inherited the Hamilton talent of music.

good finds around home #2

One of my best finds of late would be that my sister Kalli got to come for almost a 3 weeks visit. Eliana and Trinity absolutely LOVE hanging out with her. Here is one of the projects that Kalli did special with Trin. So maybe it's their good find, but Trin gets to keep the cute little animals, which means I get to see them. :)

My cute little bird picture and star hook found from a treasure trove, aka The White Chair. They might look bigger than they are but they are both just a little bigger than actual size shown. So cute above my coat hanger by my front door.


I also found this perfect little bird house from The White Chair. I fell in LOVE with and had to have it, and so my mommy spoiled me and got it for me. Yea me! It hangs ever so happily in it's new home on the curtian rod (with no curtains) above my kitchen sink. Now all I need to find a bird to put inside. The perfectly fake, un-tweeting kind :)

This is really cool jar that Kalli made. It makes me happy every time I see it, I LOVE it! She took a ceramics class this past semester and brought all kinds of amazing things that she made.

2009!!

Every year my parents have an New Years Day party. Filled with tons of yummy food, games, and talking with family and friends. Here are some pics of our fun filled day.

I usually know exactly what my New Year Resolution will at least weeks in advance. This year I have not yet even decided what I should make an effort to do better in! Maybe because I have so much room for improvement, it's hard to narrow it down to just one or two specific things. So maybe my resolution with be to make a couple before the end of January.

I hope this new year has many wonderful things in store. :)
