Remember when....

1. As a comment on my blog, leave 1 memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if it is recent or years old, silly or serious--anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I think this could be a dangerous game;)

Fun in the SUN!

Enjoying the sunshine and kiddie pool with Leecy and Hailey!Leecy is just a LITTLE wild. She had a ball jumping off the slide and into the pool. Her feet are a little cut off, but she was catching a lot of air. Cute cousins:)

Trinity is getting very tan, and is very proud of the fact, boasting of it on a regular basis. She likes how it looks like she's wearing a white bikini when she's naked. haha. She tells me, "look at my cute little white nalgs!" Nalgas is the Spanish word for butt, and Trinity has a habit of shortening words to her liking.

PIONEER DAYS

I can't help but think of the pioneer children song I learned in Primary as a child....pioneer children sang as they walked and walked and walked and walked and walked and walked. ( I hope I didn't leave out any "and walked".

In honor of pioneer days we went to the annual parade in Snowflake.

Trinity "did" her own hair today.Very excited to get her "very own flag"Daddy and boo hangin' out. I just thought this was the coolest horse!

unwelcome guest

AAAHHHH! This nasty guy was crawling right towards Trinity and I. Hooray for Alex for noticing it and alerting us. Poor Trinity gave a blood curling scream and literally leaped into my arms. We stood by while Daddy caught him and then FLUSHED him. I'm just glad Elli was sleeping, cuz she is little miss curious and, I'm sure she would've loved to taste him.

Goodbye forever! To the abyss of my septic tank.

Happy 4th of JULY!! .....a week late:)

The fourth of July started out early by heading to the annual 2 mile and 10 k run. My mom and Dad along with Matti and 2 of her friends came to support me.

Here I am, anxiously awaiting the parade to arrive so the RACE CAN START!! I'm just glad I don't live closer in town, cuz man, that anvil blowing off is LOUD!!
Man, we all look like a bunch of grumps with our arms all folded. hahaWell, I only ran the 2 mile, the 10k seemed a little ambitious, and I actually did pretty good, placing 1st place in my age division 20-29, and 3rd place in the women's overall. I got a pretty blue ribbon, and a really cool trophy! It was very exciting! More for my mom than anyone I think. :)

We went to play at the park a few hours before the fireworks started to b-b-q and ensure good seats for the FIREWORKS!

Trinity had fun kicking and chasing her ball all over the park. While Eliana just crawled ALL OVER everywhere. She's so fast that one second she'll be right there, then the next she'll be a good hundred yards away. This is Elli's new face she likes to make. It comes with sound effects. oooooooo :)

Alex found a really glow stick ball at the dollar store which we had a lot of fun with. Go Matti!!The glow stick ball in action.

Grandma and Trin having fun. We had to distract Trinity about when the fireworks would start, cuz she kept hiding under the blanket thinking she was supposed to be scared. When the fireworks finally started, my mom pulled the blanket off her head so she could see. All it took was glimpse and Trin LOVED the whole show.Hangin out.

YEA!! FIREWORKS!!!! OOOOOHHHH, that one looks like Saturn!

stay at home mom = relaxing life

The family room is scattered with more than the normal stuff. The stove is still on, cooking the remains of a late lunch to a toasty crunch. The kitchen looks as if it's been ignored for a week.

"I could totally do this house wife thing!" Alex says as I return home from working at quickbooks for a total of 3 1/2 hours at my parents house.

By the way he only had one child at home with him that was asleep for the majority of the time, and after he was saying how easy being a stay at home mom is-- he proceeded to enjoy a nice 1 1/2 hour nap.

Being a stay at home mom-- Piece of cake!

make LOVE to the camera!

The sunset was gorgeous so I went outside to take a few pictures. My pictures of the sunset didn't turn out as well as I hoped, but it was getting dark. I did however manage to get some excellent shots of something much better than some old sunset. My french doors.

Elli has to follow me WHEREVER I happen to go, and since I was in the back, looking at me through the french doors were as close as she could get. and she LOVES to give KISSES.
let me tell you though, there was so much slobber running down the window.
