Today I felt old..

Well, maybe more like grown up, or mature, sophisticated maybe?....... OK, old.

This all came about as I was sitting at work minding my own business, when five adolescent boys, who, by the looks and sound of it, thought they were the best thing since sliced bread. First they walked past the front of the building then decided that the bit of concrete by the garage type door in the back was the perfect place to continue on with their antics. They were loud and making sounds that, to me, sounded as if they were strangling a cat! After being completely annoyed of the talk of condoms (but I'm glad for their sake they are planning to use them), and scared of the chance they had actually gotten hold of a poor cat, I marched outside and up to the boys.

Relief no cat.

"Would you mind keeping it down?!! I'm trying to work inside. Maybe you guys should move."
(I was really just in the middle of a game of hearts, but they didn't need to know that)

A couple pathetic "sorry" 's were said and I walked away.
I guess they left, for now it is quiet. Thank goodness. :)

I am just amazed that only 5-10 years ago I might have found the likes of them amusing.
So, I guess, sometimes it's not so bad to get old.

You are freakin hilarious! I really think you got your mom's sense of humor. It is one of the thngs I like most about her, so I recognize it when I see it ;)
Love you. Miss you.
Want to breathe heavy in your face, make jokes about being trapped betweem two large.....well, you know ;) and tell you embarassing stories about myself..... maybe this time without the embarassing stories about my self because they are even more embarassing now. Oh, also, staring at the stars in your parents yard would be AWESOME. We ought to do something about it. Let's both ask the universe to get me out to Arizona, tell your om to pray, and I will be there in a matter of time, I know it:)
