Dear Santa,

In hopes of getting Trinity to not be such a "want monster", this morning I helped her write a letter to Santa, narrowing everything she sees on tv or in cataglogs down to a few items. Of course, it was a little difficult for her not to glue EVERY picture of EVERY item she saw on her letter.
She wrote all the letters her self with a little coaching from me and looking at her flash cards. Although she only wrote the T in her name, I wrote the rest. :)
When Trinity says the family prayer, she never forgets to say "and please bless santa can bring me a baby alive and lots of toys."
We're trying to teach her that "toys" aren't what Christmas is all about-- any suggestions?!!

This is beautiful. I actually find it profound and beautiful that she is learning to express herself and is okay with coming out and saying what it is exactly that she wants. Many adults cannot even do that!
I can't read the post because it is camouflaged in your background. Sneaky Sneaky :)

What?! Christmas isn't all about the toys??? Guess I'll have to figure out something else to ask for...

The letter is really cute! I'm so proud of my smart little niece.

So cute. Connor's been working on a list for months (I was looking at it the other day and noticed a drastic improvement in his handwriting since he started kindergarten, so that'll give you some idea of just how long he's been keeping the thing:). I agree with Shalene, I think it's nice that Trinity knows what she wants.

I don't know if you'll get the message I left you today since you mentioned awhile back that you'd lost your phone, so I just wanted to tell you again that Holden's birthday is on Monday and we're having a party for him that afternoon at 4:30. I know it's short notice (I've been meaning to call you since *last* Monday) but if any/all of you and your family (Matt, Karen, Tatton, Kalli, Rachael too) can make it, Holden would love to see you!
